Projects:

• Riparian forests and trophic subsidies in subtropical streams in Uruguay (led by Margenny Barrios and Franco Teixeira de Melo, Universidad de la República, Maldonado, Uruguay; starting, Jun2023).

• Trophic structure of the aquatic communities of Apurito Island, Apure River, Venezuela; with emphasis on carbon sources and curito fishing production. Doctoral dissertation of Nayibe Pérez (as PI; In progress).

• Feeding preference, ecological stoichiometry and effect of forest substitution by coffee crops (Coffea arabica) on the larvae of Phylloicus sp. (Trichoptera: Calamoceratidae) in a stream of the Cordillera de la Costa, Venezuela. Master's thesis of Margenny Barrios (as PI; finished, 2018).
