Impact of Climate Change on Aquatic Ecosystems, past and present

Projects:

• Effect of climate change on leaf litter decomposition and aquatic decomposers in streams of Cordillera de La Costa, Northern Venezuela.

• Study of testate amoebae (Rhizopoda: Testacea) as indicators of past conditions and historical changes in the water table of wetlands in the Orinoco basin. Sub-project framed within the strategic project: “Impact of Climate Change and human occupation on the savannah forest mosaics of the Orinoco basin: a transdisciplinary approach.” Collaboration with: Simón Bolívar University.
